چکیده

The Task Force on Management of Acute Coronary Syndromes without persistent ST-segment elevation was created by the Committee for Scientific and Clinical Initiatives on 18 October 1998 after formal approval by the Board of the European Society of Cardiology. The composition of the Task Force was proposed by Dr Michel E. Bertrand and was approved by the Board of the European Society of Cardiology. The document was extensively revised and circulated to the members of the Committee for Scientific and Clinical Initiatives, to the Members of the Board and to the following reviewers: J. Adgey (U.K.), J. P. Bassand (F), G. Breithardt (D), J. L. Lopez-Sendon (E), L. Rydén (S), C. Stefanadis (GR). After further revision, it was submitted for approval to the Committee for Scientific and Clinical Initiatives (Chairman: J. P. Bassand (F)). The Task Force report was entirely supported financially by the European Society of Cardiology and was developed without any involvement of pharmaceutical companies. Introduction
